However, when I first took it out of its packaging, I couldn't find the slit opening. They iron press it really well and so you have to search a bit to figure out what side the slit is on. But I should also mention that this is the first duvet cover I've ever purchased, so there was a learning curve for me. But I AM a college graduate, so I'm not a complete idiot! LOL

Someone said the slit to get in the egyptian cotton duvet cover is too small, I disagree. I had no problem getting mine (although mine is quite skinny, I can't imagine you'd have much more trouble with a bigger one).
